I am trying to download Fusion studio onto my MacBook Pro but when ever I go to the GoPRo page and hit the down load on the Mac button it just takes me to a page where on the top it says that the app can only be downloaded onto an IOS (I phone or I pad) I can't seem to find a link that will allow me. Congrats on your new MacBook. Apple outfits you with a bounty of preinstalled software, but it doesn't cover everything. Here are six free apps that I installed on my new new MacBook Pro and use. If you can’t download or update any apps, including free apps and you see a message about billing or payment, learn what to do. If you want to update apps, you can update them manually or turn on automatic updates. But if your app won't update or is interrupted while it's downloading, try these steps. To answer the simplest part of the question 'How can I run iOS apps on my MacBook?' , well you can't in the conventional sense of clicking on the app in the Applications Directory, it doesn't work that way. IPhone apps cannot natively run on your MacBook Pro or in Mac OS X. If you join the iPhone Developers Program and download the iPhone SDK you will gain access to the iPhone Simulator, which can be used to run apps on your Mac.

If so, how do I go about doing that? I imagine it's when my iPhone is hooked to my computer and I have to sync something… But don't see how to do it.
Also, where do the individual apps 'live' on my MacBook? So I'll know where to go to launch them. And I'm hoping I can keep favorites in the Dock - but don't know about that, either.
Thanks, if you do!
Added (1). I've got my iPhone hooked up to my MPB and have iTunes open, but still don't see where the apps live on my computer.
No, you can't.
Apple Mobile devices use the iOS 5 Operating System, and Apps for the Mobile OS are only available through the iTunes Store, using the free iTunes App.
Apple computers use the OS X Operating System, and Apps for OS X are only available through the Apple Mac Store, accessible under the Apple Icon > App Store…
TIP: There are many Apps. Like Angry Birds for example, that have been re-compiled to run on Apple computers AND Mobile Devices. But these have a unique program for each platform.

- Why can't I import the photos from my IPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I have a little over 1000 picture on my IPhone 5 and i want to get them to go onto my Macbook Pro laptop. I know this probably sounds stupid, but I just can't seem to figure it out! I've researched a lot of stuff and even went onto the apple website! I asked a few of my friends who have PC laptops and they said that a little pop-up came out in the corner of their screen asking to sync their photos. Well of course my doesn't have a pop-up.
- Why are all the iphone apps I have ever downloaded saved on my macbook pro? There's 60GB of iphone apps stored on my macbook pro. It is taking up a lot of space and i was wondering if that is normal or something is wrong. Would it be alright if I deleted all of it and just backed up my phone to the cloud?
- Transfer iPhone music/photos/apps onto new Macbook Pro? I just purchased a Macbook Pro yesterday and I plugged my iPhone 5 into it and was expecting the music to be automatically transferred to my computer, but that did not happen. How do I transfer my music/photos/apps onto my macbook? The computer I had previously used for iTunes is gone and unable to use.
- Transfer apps from iPhone to Macbook Pro? Is there a way to transfer apps from my iPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I will not have to repurchase them? (e.g. I have Pages on iPhone but not Mac, would I be able to download it again for free?) Thanks in advance Also, when I go into the Mac App Store, Pages is still available only for the paid price? I assumed it would just say 'Download' or something. I mean the Mac equivalent of the iPhone apps, but just wondering if I can get them free?
